Egress and corridor lighting, fire alarm coordinated with sprinklers, nurse call and door-control infrastructure, and generator-backed circuits for medication refrigeration, kitchen equipment, HVAC, water heating, and resident-room receptacles for medical equipment. We build the essential-load list with the operator, not just from the plans.
Two ground-up RCFs, one playbook
Linden Care Home is a 21-unit facility with an 800-amp service, a Type I hood commercial kitchen, and a 48kW standby generator. A second facility of nearly 18,000 square feet is in construction nearby. Both run on the same sequencing: service and generator early, life-safety systems tested before occupancy.
Renovating an occupied facility
Adding units, upgrading a panel, or converting rooms to memory care while residents are home takes planned shutdowns, quiet hours, and crews who know how to work around care staff. We schedule with the administrator and keep life-safety systems live throughout.
